The Battle System allows for two players to play, but by purchasing more taggers, you can include more players in your battles. The included Phoenix LTX taggers look and feel good, and they also registers hits, shots and special weapon activations. You'll be notified by a combination of lights, sounds, and vibrations. 
The Shot Blast attachment lets you hit multiple targets at once. View larger. | The Shot Blast attachment lets you tag multiple targets at once, boosting your overall hit damage. The system includes a rumble pack that lets you know when you've been hit, and the gun recoils with each shot, just like a real gun. A manual reload feature lets you restock ammo more realistically.  Great fun, but beware that some guns have defective re-load mechanism January 1, 2009

The review herein by Greg A. Gaub is excellent. These are great, fun toys that provide hours of inside and outdoor entertainment for kids and adults of all ages. That said, I bought three pairs (six total) of these LazerTags and two of the guns were defective straight out of the box. Their re-load mechanisms did not re-load the guns, making the guns useless. It is quite a high defect rate (33%) for two of six guns not to work from new. So hold on to your receipt/warranty in case you need to return for replacement or repair. (Note: I bought my guns from Amazon US, but live in the UK, so I was unable to return easily the guns to Amazon for replacement. But I HAVE gotten the guns to work again by taking them apart and tweaking/adjusting two electrical contacts in the guns' handles. The contacts were not making adequate contact when the re-load mechanisms were activated. Making the guns work again wasn't easy, and I don't know how long my 'repairs' will last.)
Amazing lazertag system December 31, 2008
This was a family xmas gift. I based my entire purchase on the video review submitted by Greg Gaub from Auburn, WA. Thank you, it was very thorough and informative. So far we are more then impressed with this lazertag system. We have played them inside and outside and the system has held up really well.
A must have game December 29, 2008
I gave this to my nephews 8 and 12 for Christmas, and this is an awesome gift and a steal for the price tag. Very durable product and countless hours of fun. It was hard to keep out of all the adults hands as well. We played indoor as well as out, absolutely the best gift I have seen that can give you some excercise and fun at the same time.
Great Fun for Boys and Girls (and Mom and Dads too) December 29, 2008
We got these for Christmas from Santa. He left them for the little fellow who is 8 yrs old. He loves going to battle with dad and he usually wins!! Turns out little gals like these too and our little gal who is 9 yrs old loves dueling with her brother. Guess she has lots of anger locked up against the little monster and this is a great way to let it out....
Anyway, we were very impressed with the quality of the toys. Work great both indoors and out and they are a big hit. Mom even enjoys playing a few rounds with the kids. They have sound as well as lights and and even vibrate when you get hit and when you cock the gun. Let the kids win once in a while or if you are a kid let your parents win occassionally.
We are considering buying another set or two so we can invite the kids friends over to play teams. Each gun allows you to select which team (1 or 2) you want to be on and this way you aren't affected by your teamates fire and with multiple sets you can have as many people on each team as you like. Solo mode is also available on each gun so you can shoot or be shot by anyone.
Guns also allow you to play a video shooting game on TV and that part only gets so-so reviews from the little fellow but that isn't why we got them. It is probably a fun game but it must be much more fun beating up on mom and dad.
Great fun and great quality for any price. Man, those chinese must work cheap....

OK, my 7 and 9 year old boys haven't stopped playing with this since they got it at Christmas. Today I'm ordering another set so they can play with their friends. They are having a ball with this game and the great thing about it is there's no 'he cheated'... the guns keep track of who got hit. What a great toy!
